172 metro pk milling

Milling

Using a milling machine the existing asphalt is cut to a depth of 2" and removed. After the area is prepared by removing loose debris tack coat is applied to promote proper adhesion. Finally asphalt is added to meet the surrounding elevations and then compacted to ensure proper strength and pitch.

That was a pretty superb asphalt repair just by looking at those pictures. I can only assume that the road has been tested for soil stabilisation to measure its safety.

As far as I know. soil settlement is one of the primary concerns that is needed to be looked upon with complete scrutiny, since there are many elements that might compromise the safety of the road or the soil itself.
